Two of American hardcore cinema's least discussed pioneers were the team of Stu Segal (Drive In Massacre) and Martin Greenwald. After partnering with equally trailblazing Detroit, Michigan based theatre owner turned producer, Arthur Weisberg, the group created a series of audacious sex comedies, always hiring the biggest names in X and proving a low budget is no hindrance to high creativity. Produced to mark the nation's bicentennial, SPIRIT OF SEVENTY SEX offers erotic reimaginings of the misadventures of some of America's founding fathers and other similarly esteemed historical figures. From George (Tyer Horne) and Martha Washington's (Annette Haven) randy goings on, to the women who led Ben Franklin (John Seeman) and Paul Revere to greatness, and even the "true" story of how Pocahontas broke bread with the settlers.

This is the course in American history that you wished you learned in school! Three pretty young teeny-boppers discover that boys will do just about anything to get into their short shorts, so why not make them pay for the privilege? "Nice double feature here with a pretty amusing duo. Spirit of Seventy-Sex has some really fun one liners but is pretty dumb by charming all around. Any porn featuring George Washington and Ben Franklin is worth it just for that alone. I found Teeny Buns to be the standout here with some really hot sex scenes and gorgeous ladies. I really liked the artwork, it stood out. Nice purchase!"

The Kind of History You Want to Repeat

"Spirit of Seventy Sex has the founding fathers (bald caps and all) founding some hotties like Annette Haven. Teeny Buns skirts barely legal territory with school girls turning tricks for kicks. Both comedies rarely rise above a snicker, but mileage varies on the hot sex scenes. It is nice to see different faces than the usual cast for these two."

"Spirit of Seventy Sex and Teeny Buns are now restored and remastered for another Peekarama double feature bluray. Stu Segal made two fun erotic comedies. The first title spoofs the American Revolution. Teeny Buns deals with boys who are trying to get into the girls pants, so the girls decide to make some money in the process. Both are well made and in some ways quite amusing. The restorations look great. These titles have never looked better. Unfortunately no extras. The OCN slipcover is excellent as usual."
