PEEKARAMA presents the wildest, rarest, and most scandalous theatrical hardcore double features. Taking its name from one of the earliest "all action" sex theatre chains, each PEEKARAMA release presents two themed, full length feature films, both meticulously restored, thus giving you the opportunity to enjoy an old fashioned dirty movie double feature at home!
Best known by some for his notorious horror film Last House on Dead End Street, Roger Watkins was most prolific as a director of hardcore theatrical features. Working primarily with New York's Ace Booking Company, he created moody, intense erotic classics, three of which are collected here by Peekarama, and all restored from their completely uncensored original 35mm camera negatives.
Watkins' hardcore debut, HER NAME WAS LISA (1979), opens with the friends and adversaries of recently deceased call girl Lisa gathered at her funeral. As each attendee recalls their connection to her, an increasingly sinister portrait of her sordid downfall and death begins to emerge. Starring Samantha Fox (Roommates), Bobby Astyr (Foxtrot), and Vanessa Del Rio (Babylon Pink).
In THE PINK LADIES (1979), a group of sex starved Staten Island couples indulge in their own elaborate fantasies, in this outlandish and stylish comedy with an surreal edge, which features Robyn Byrd (Hot Honey), Kandi Barbour (Neon Nights), Christine DeShaffer (Hot & Saucy Pizza Girls) and many others.
The director's hardcore magnum opus CORRUPTION (1983) focuses on a desperate businessman lured into an increasingly perverse sexual hellspace fueled by violence, icy manipulation, and brutal debasement. Its cast includes Jamie Gillis (Through the Looking Glass), Kelly Nichols (Public Affairs), Tish Ambrose (Raw Talent), and more.

"Such a fun triple feature of Corruption, Her Name Was Lisa, and The Pink Ladies! I love these older adult films, and Melusine always does a wonderful job bringing them back for collectors to enjoy."
"Three very different flavors of 1970s adult cinema, but all three have that wonderfully grubby, anything-goes atmosphere that makes the era so much fun. Corruption, Her Name Was Lisa and Pink Ladies feel like relics from a time when exploitation filmmakers could still throw sex, sleaze, melodrama and sheer weirdness into the same damn blender. Not exactly high art, but there’s a rawness and freedom here that modern productions rarely come close to. Dirty, tacky and occasionally surprisingly stylish—the kind of vintage adult trash I’ll take over polished contemporary porn any day."
"Her Name Was Lisa is the clear favorite for me, though Corruption is pretty damn great too. So happy to finally have it in the collection after missing the standalone release. Pink Ladies goes in a very different direction but still it’s a hell of a lot of fun!"
"A solid trio of Watkins' films. Nice to have them reissued on a single disc after missing the original editions. It's a bit disappointing that Last House on Dead End Street doesn't appear to be hidden on the disc, but having all three films together makes it worthwhile. The slipcover artwork looks excellent."
"An adult version of David Lynch sounds like too simplistic of a description for this, but...it works. Filled with subconscious dread, striking primary colors, and an intangibleness that nibbles at your brain, it all works in that Lynchian way. It may feature adult scenes, but you can tell they're mostly there as a mandate, not actually a focus for the film. It's a catalyst for desire and power that's played out in the other wants of the characters but the only outlet most get is the cold, robot-like sex portrayed in as unflatteringly as possible. The droning score and Gillis's terrifically haunted performance only anchor the uneasy, esoteric mood that permeates this entire thing."
"Sensational! Also, three films on one disc, w/ the ever amazing Samantha Fox, who could complain? Stories, substance, and intrigue make the movies from this era a cut above. Always the best, thanks again guys!! __Scott"
"Fantastic release. All three of these films are great but it’s Corruption that stands out for me. It’s SO GOOD. Don’t miss this release!"
"Corruption is among the best films of the golden age."
"Corruption is the stand out here but the other two are decent as well"
"I’m so glad VS reissued these for people to own as Corruption and Her Name Was Lisa are essential! Early VS releases with immaculate restorations and the special features are all ported over. Not to say Pink Ladies isn’t good, it’s a nice light, comedic counterpoint to the other two!"
