Klubb Super 8 is a Swedish independent research outfit/film archive/film club/film distribution company dedicated to Swedish exploitation Cinema that has been operational for almost 25 years, releasing films on VHS, DVD and Blu-ray. Klubb Super 8 also owns the subsidiary Cultpix.com, a global streaming platform focused on vintage exploitation/genre/cult movies from around the world.

Christina Lindberg (Thriller - A Cruel Picture) is ANITA, a teenage nymphomaniac who feels compelled to seduce every man she meets; students, hippies, businessmen and bums. After being rescued from a particularly dirty old man by a psychology student Erik (played by a young Stellan Skarsgård decades before he starred in Hollywood films like Pirates of the Caribbean, and also played a very similar character in Lars von Trier’s Nymphomaniac), he attempts to uncover the causes of Anita’s aberrant behavior.

Directed by one of Sweden’s most significant sexploitation filmmakers, Torgny Wickman (The Language of Love), this cult classic uses a serious study of nymphomania as a pretext for scorching eroticism. Presented in a new 4K restoration of its original Swedish version as well as a new 2K scan of Les impures, the French theatrical version, a different edit featuring an abundance of exclusive sex and nudity!

Interesting film

"Got this to see some of Stellan's early work and to compare with Lars Von Trier's take on the subject. It's an interesting film with a number of laugh out loud moments. I love the cover artwork . Lead actress is/was pretty fearless in her performance. It's my first time experience with the film, so i can't speak to any upgrade, but I though the presentation was crisp and clear, especially for a 50 plus year old film."

Christina Lindberg Fans Will love this

"Christina Lindberg is more than just a bit of a 70s cult classic grade actress. I originally learned about her early 70s B movie classic Thriller / Cruel / They call Her One Eye . . . revenge horror movie about fifteen years or so ago. Before that exploitation flick came this sexploitation flick. Definitely should be appealing to any fan of this era, as Lindberg has cult status and is easy on the eyes. Restoration by V. S. is great. Nice release for sure, as good portion of extras here. If you like Lindberg or this specific genre of sexploitation, you'll be glad to have this one in your library."

"I went into this mostly expecting a curiosity, but it turned out to be a much more interesting watch than that. Anita has that very distinct 70s feel, and while it is definitely provocative, it also has more emotional weight and seriousness than I expected. Not for every mood, but definitely a memorable and worthwhile film to have in a strong edition."
