A middle-aged man is having problems trying to regain his sexual drive. He leaves behind his old life and tries to discover a simpler happiness through painting and meeting new friends. Wanting to save him from a sexless fate, his friend (director Carlos Tobalina in a supporting role) attempts to solve the mystery of his sexual shortcomings, through any means possible.
Filled with incredible footage of Las Vegas, the Sierra Nevada and elsewhere, as well as subplots involving kidnapping, and even a bit of unexpected gore, filmmaker Carlos Tobalina's debut feature is a totally unique sexploitation experiment that showcases many of the stylistic touches that would become his trademarks, along with a cast of beautiful starlets, including Sharon Matt and Marsha Jordan.

"INFRASEXUM must have been a super rare, hard to find film before VS released this DVD. It's the debut full length feature of the one and only Carlos Tobolina, who is responsible for countless adult quickies; many of them having been released by VS. This film however is not a hardcore feature, but a sexploitation flick. The date says 1969, so hardcore porn was not legal anyway. It's really interesting to see how Tobolina, who also acts in this film, got his start. It's a very ambitious debut film, though can be a little slow by today's standards. Marsha Jordan ("Marsha the Erotic Housewife") gives a great performance. Unfortunately there is bonus material at all, besides a trailer. I would have loved to see an adult film expert (Joe Rubin himself for example) talk about Tobolina and how his first film fits into the rest of his filmography. Still, the picture quality is great and they actually had the Original camera negative at hand for the restoration! That blows my mind."

Enjoyable Relic of a FIlm of Its Time
"This low budget film - while exploitive, and thus, very much of its time cinematically - certainly possesses its own unique charms - including wonderful footage of old Vegas and a crazy gore scene that just jumps out of nowhere. A solid recommend for folks who want something different, but is OOP at the time I penned this review."
