"Looking for something which doesn't star Jamie Gillis? Looking for a movie where John Holmes doesn't stuff his floppy XL king size frankfurter into a small finger bun? Well this might be for you! Deep Roots starts out as if it's going to be a serious movie with some emotional depth, but actually it's just a native American going from one place to another having sex with people. It all ends with a bizarre orgy which in all fairness looks genuine and a bit different to the ones you see in most Carlos Tobalina features. For some reason there's a guy dressed as one of the Marx brothers hosting the whole thing. Weird! The second feature is Starlet Nights, which is a sort of retelling of Snow White. It stars Leslie Bovee - mirror mirror on the wall, who is the hairiest of them all? She looks a bit thin in this though, as in unwell. Not sure if she was ill or had problems, but I can't say I enjoyed watching her in this all that much. It's supposed to be funny, but I can't say it amused me. So if I had to recommend these two movies, it'd be purely on the basis that they're something a little different."

A rather mid to lower

"A rather mid to lower tier VS double feature for the Peekarama DVD series but worth the sale price alone for Liz Renay and a few other choice scenes."

Chris S. (3/5)

Late 70s storybook retellings

"This release features a couple of fairytale like adult film retellings of classic stories. The standout here is Starlet Nights which is a adult version of Snow White and features great talent from that era."

DEEP ROOTS was a rather

"DEEP ROOTS was a rather involving piece of americana - until our hero joins a sexparty that is moderated by a Groucho Marx impersonator. The other one was okay, too."

Double Trouble

"Another great Peekarama double feature of vintage sleaze at its absolute finest. This releases are really worth picking up while you still can. Don't sleep on the sleaze!"
