"Love the double features"
"'All Night Long' starts off more like a British 'Carry On' film from the 60s (if you didn't know it was a porno before, this opening scene certainly wouldn't give it away). After approximately 15 minutes there is some sex, but it takes a while to get there. Meantime there are some mildly amusing exchanges, but it's not a great plot - essentially John Holmes and Ric Lutze are in competition to see who can please women the most, or something like that (women aren't having enough fun, apparently). The first sex scenes are some oriental women having sex with our two lucky guys. This bit is actually quite good, as both women really give it their all! After that there's a slightly uncomfortable to watch 'schoolgirl' scene for Lutze, while Holmes gets it on with a complete maniac played by Sharon Thorpe. There's more after this, but really nothing all that memorable. It's okay, but not incredible. Tapestry of Passion follows detective Johnny Wadd, played by John Holmes. It's actually quite an amusing tongue in cheek detective movie and holds up quite well. Johnny Wadd needs to track down the Black Widow, as her partners seem to have an unfortunate habit of dying. The Black Widow is played by Thorpe, building on her character in the first feature on this disc and absolutely chewing up the scenery! Holmes is much more interesting in this one, putting on a comical accent at one point and playing an instrument (no, not that one!). He fluffs one of his lines during the park bench scene, but just carries on anyway... no matter, it's one of his best performances in my opinion. And the ultimate scene is when he destroys the rubber spider! There's an amusing monologue by Holmes at the end about not giving women power because they might all turn out to be maniacs like The Black Widow, so in many ways this plays against the first feature. This release started out terribly, but actually I quite enjoyed both features. The second one is much better, neither are hugely erotic but I've seen so much worse. Recommended!"
"spoof / satire"
"Another couple of great "time capsule" mid 70s films, this time from director Alan Colberg. Featuring talent of the time, especially Annette Haven, with a special cameo by George Buck Flowers. Nothing too special here, but worth checking out if you are a fan of Haven."
"Great transfers and fun watch. The Golden Rod award and the sombre Black Widow. Great cast."
"Interesting mid-70’s double feature"
"A pair of classic features almost lost to time. With a great transfer and fast shipping. With great packaging of two good releases"
"These are fun films with the one and only John Holmes. Always nice seeing Annette Haven. PQ is great. Got this on the Valentines Day Sale and very glad I did. Melusine/Vinegar Syndrome might release some of these titles that went OOP now on Bluray or 4K but we don't know anything for certain about that so yeah very glad to have this."
"Both movies look better than ever, top quality release!"
