Prior to becoming one of the most influential independent filmmakers of the 1980s, Bill Lustig (Maniac Cop, Vigilante) cut his teeth working within New York City's busy world of adult film. Lustig's first two features, under his moniker of Billy Bagg, are represented in this set of two very different X-rated oddities: VIOLATION OF CLAUDIA (1977) showcases the incredible Sharon Mitchell (Joy, Kamikaze Hearts), a beautiful and wealthy housewife who, bored by her inattentive husband, enters the seedy, bizarre world of prostitution via her manipulative tennis coach Jamie Gillis (Roommates). Also starring Crystal Sync (A Woman's Torment), and New York character actor David Lipman aka "Waldo Short" (The Executioner, TV's Law & Order) as a senator with a dessert fetish.

In HOT HONEY (1978), the titular teenager played by Heather Young (Deep Inside Annie Sprinkle) refuses her boyfriend’s non-stop advances, preferring to spend her time with her wheelchair-bound brother Michael. But through a series of unexpected events, Honey experiences a sexual awakening, transforming from wallflower to vixen and wickedly seducing men and women alike! Co-starring Serena (Taxi Girls), Herschel Savage (Getting Personal) and Robin Byrd (Her Name Was Lisa). Each film has been newly restored in 2K from their original negatives and includes a vibrant, no-holds-barred audio commentary with director Bill Lustig alongside the acclaimed contemporary auteur filmmaker Nicolas Winding Refn (Drive, The Neon Demon).

"I really enjoyed Violation of Claudia, well paced with a little drama to the story, scenes were as long as they needed to be. Another great performance from Sharon Mitchell who really shines, well worth picking up if you are a fan. I was less keen on Hot Honey, storyline was very basic and forgetful. Most of the scenes felt like they went on for too long, which is a shame as there isn't much else to this film. It does have a funky soundtrack though, so not all bad. Violation of Claudia and the overall product earn this 5 stars, Hot Honey alone would likely only have gotten 3 stars."

"Picked this up as they are directed by William "Maniac" Lustig. Got the standard version without the slipcover, as the films themselves are fairly standard XXX titles. 'Violation. . ' is the better of the two but they aren't ones I will return to very often. Lustig provides a commentary which is more interesting than the movies. . . and I usually dont like/listen to commentaries. Worth it for historical purposes, but as porno's go the movies themselves rank pretty low."

"Solid double feature of Adult Films directed by horror/cult film director and producer William Lustig. Both films are well made but the stand out is The Violation of Claudia with a sexy performance from Sharon Mitchell and quite a surprise ending. Great transfers and packaging as expected."

"Double feature. Hot Honey is really nothing special: almost zero story, basically wall to wall sex. Quite poorly shot, I might add. The violation of Claudia, on the other hand, is much better. Sharon Mitchell looks stunning, and the movie has a couple of funny scenes. The ending was quite a surprise. The movie is a little short, though. Still, fans of Sharon Mitchell shouldn't miss this one."
