"This was a pretty fun adult film from back in the day. Nice production and pretty good scenes. Picture quality was great as usual from Melusine. Highly recommend grabbing it before it sells out."
"Misbehavin' is a lot of fun. It is a great, adult tribute to the great comedies of cinema's golden age. Chuck Vincent did a great job recreating that time period. This is another adult film that did more that titilate. Chuck Vincent created a truly zany and funny movie. The acting is good. The plot is amusing. This movie looks fantastic. The OCN restoration is incredible. VS and Melusine truly do a great job restoring these films to their original luster. The disc comes with a commentary, trailers and radio spots. The OCN slipcover is gorgeous. Check this one out. You will enjoy it!"
"MisBehavin’ is entertaining & fun. For a film in its genre, it’s well-acted and thoughtfully put together. The location, cinematography, and script all stand out as strong points, giving the movie a level of quality that exceeded my expectations. After a lengthy set-up, the film builds momentum, only to lose it during the orgy sequence, which ends up being its weakest segment. Fortunately, it recovers with a lively and humorous final 20–25 minutes. The closing stretch, centered on the main female character juggling three suitors, brings back the energy and charm. Lesllie Bovee delivers a solid performance, handling the role with confidence, humor and charisma. Gloria Leonard is equally memorable, perfectly cast in a sharp-tongued, bitchy role that she clearly relishes. The restoration is impressive, the cover art is great and the included mini poster is a nice bonus. As for the extras, the interview with the assistant cameraman has some interesting moments, but it falls short of its potential. The interviewer, whose grating delivery doesn’t help matters, frequently interrupts and fails to ask about the cast or more relevant behind-the-scenes details, which detracts from what could have been a much more engaging feature."
"Another great Chuck Vincent film. Good audio commentary."
"Grabbed it on sale. Can't get enough Bovee."
"Classic cinema in fine form."
"A breezy, joke-forward comedy built around charm and easy laughs. Very much of its era, but fun and relaxed, with a nice, clean transfer."
"I enjoyed this fun and cheesy film. Especially liked the performances by Eric Edwards and Arcadia Lake."
"This film is frankly surprising and 100% outlandish. I can only imagine the producers' faces when they saw the result, or perhaps the reaction of a segment of the audience who came expecting something more straightforward and simplistic. The opening sets the tone: God and the devil are quarreling. Which is more important : money or love? A bet pits the two antagonists against each other. The stakes: 500 souls will go to the winner. A mercenary woman will be put to the test. We soon find her on the grounds of her lakeside residence. It's a party where a greasy, cartoonish hard rock band is playing on a large rock. Our heroine's friend, breaking the fourth wall, speaks to us, as an off-screen hand offers her a glass of champagne. A succession of characters straight out of a vaudeville show unfolds: an Italian man who proves his love through failed suicide attempts, a cowboy who takes an unwilling cold shower, a bear that appears out of nowhere, and so on. It would be a shame to say too much, but suffice it to say that the eccentric atmosphere is maintained until the very end. The humor is sometimes puerile, but the whole thing is so absurd that this approach ultimately fits perfectly. One gets the impression that the director, Chuck Vincent, wanted to make something other than a hardcore film, which he managed to achieve by shooting a few obligatory sex scenes, though these don't constitute the bulk of this curious MISBEHAVIN'. This Blu-ray boasts a beautiful restoration and is well worth watching."
"Another very nice release. The slipcover looks and feels of quality construction. The whole presentation of the movie is well done. I love the reversible covers and the art is great! Shipping was safely and securing packed so no damaged incurred during transit. I’m looking to watching it soon!"
