Klubb Super 8 is a Swedish independent research outfit/film archive/film club/film distribution company dedicated to Swedish exploitation Cinema that has been operational for almost 25 years, releasing films on VHS, DVD and Blu-ray. Klubb Super 8 also owns the subsidiary Cultpix.com, a global streaming platform focused on vintage exploitation/genre/cult movies from around the world.

17-year-old Lena (Christina Lindberg, 21 years old) is alone in town while her parents are on vacation. She is torn between her innocent boyfriend Jan and the older, worldly and perverted girl photographer Helge (Heinz Hopf, whom Christina Lindberg played against in Thriller – A Cruel Picture). Lena hikes a ride with Lars (Janne "Loffe" Carlsson) and his open-minded wife. The couple party, swim naked and have sex in front of the wide-eyed Lena. Back in the big city, she is once again attracted to Helge and his sick parties and erotic games. Memories, the present, violent fantasies and reality mix in the sexually confused girl's head.

Christina Lindberg, Sweden's most famous centerfold and exploitation film star in one of her early roles. The film was launched at the Cannes Film Festival, where Christina's presence became the sensation of the year in newspapers around the world. Exposed became her ticket to Japan and two film roles for Toei. In 1975 she had a role in Gustav Wiklund's Wide Open.

    "This new Klubb Super 8 release is a must have for Christina Lindberg fans. EXPOSED is one of her classic films, along with THRILLER and SEX & FURY. I own the Synapse DVD and didn't have the time to crack into this new 2-Disc Blu-Ray set. But the slipcover artwork is beautiful and they packed this with new and archival extras. There are new Interviews and an essay by Klubb Super 8 owner Rick Gramfors. The disc has subtitles in several languages, an additional German language track for the original version and as a Bonus the German edit. Good for me as a German."

    Scandinavian Exploitation

    "Make sure to watch the Swedish version first. It contains more material and has significantly better picture quality. On first viewing, I didn't fully appreciate the sense of internal confusion being conveyed; instead, I found the story disjointed. However, I gradually came to appreciate the characters and plot upon reflection. For a small-scale erotic exploitation production, the story and character development are surprisingly strong."

    "Klubb Super 8 has been on quite a good run, partly because of one particular woman but also because they're putting a lot of effort into each release. Although this one wasn't my favourite, it's certainly interesting and is loaded with extras too (not to mention it has another fantastic slipcover). Region free, so it'll play worldwide."

    Oh yes another Christina Linberg

    "Oh yes another Christina Linberg film released on Blu Ray. This one is definitely in her top 5 and she is practically naked throughout 70% of the film. The score swells like a Jess Franco film and plays like a nightmare. Really liked this 70s slice of exploitation. This actually has 3 versions of the film and a slew of extras. A great purchase indeed."
