PEEKARAMA presents the wildest, rarest, and most scandalous theatrical hardcore double features. After making the mid-70s leap from actor to director, Fred Lincoln began shooting films in San Francisco. A far cry from the grim and gritty streets of New York, this initial duo of West Coast comedies have been newly restored from the 35mm original camera negatives by Peekarama.

Reviews
I can only imagine the
"I can only imagine the condition these negatives were before Vinegar Syndrome did there pristine restoration. A really fun double feature by director Fred Lincoin who I couldn't believe was the baddie in Last House the Left. These are just fun, fast faced and at points crever comedies."

Daisy May / A Formal Faucett - Blu-Ray release
"Both great movies. Once again my favorite was the 2nd one because of the marvelous Desiree Cousteau. A little different from the usual fare of the era and maybe a little unintentionally funny but that is a plus for me. Both films also enjoy great picture and clear audio. Once of the best releases in Melusine's catalog in my opinion."

Pleasant Blast s from the Past
"THese two movies were a pleasant review of the 1970's ans the original stars of the day. Especially enjoyed Formal Faucett once I understood the central gag. The director on these - Vincent I believe - is chronically underrated so its fun to see some of his formative films that he put together back in the day. Please keep up the good work ion the Peekarama side of things."

"The streets of San Francisco" & "Hillbilly antics"
"The only thing remotely clever about "A Formal Faucett" is the attempt at a play on words with the female character's stage name. Based on the numerous shots of a car idly driving around and around (and yet around) on the streets of San Francisco, the director was shamelessly trying to pad out the length of the film, but inexplicably doesn't take full advantage of what and whom he has in his film. For example, "Desiree Cousteau’s" single scene is short and very disappointing. The same can be said about all other sex scenes in the film; they all look so mechanical, uninspired, and lifeless. Everyone seems bored. The main actress has sex with several men and women, and doesn't have even a shred of chemistry with any of them. She half-closes and rolls her eyes back while having sex, giving the impression that she's auditioning for the role of a shark in her next adult film. The BJ in the limo has to be one of the most boring sex scenes in porn history and makes the viewer wish for more footage of the streets of San Francisco. IN A NUTSHELL: 1 STAR (For historical curiosity) "Daisy May" fares better in comparison to "A Formal Fauccett". It lacks much of a story, but makes up for it with nonstop, playful, and mostly energetic scenes. "Susan Nero" , a voluptuous and enthusiastic performer, stands out and more than compensates for the rather bland and basic actress who plays the title role. The film also features some elements, such as DP and Anal sex, that were relatively edgy for its time, which adds to its appeal. IN A NUTSHELL : Silly & energetic fun - 3 STARS (Thanks to Susan Nero) The restorations & and transfers of both films are excellent, though it’s disappointing that the extras are limited to trailers."

Daisy May / A Formal Faucett
"offers a strong restoration of the low-budget rural comedy, praised for its detailed video quality with natural skin tones, textured costumes, and dimensional rural settings, showcasing bodies in motion well despite some minor scratches, making it a worthwhile pickup for fans of forgotten exploitation films."

Kind of a mess. . .
"I love the girls in 70's porn. and there's some hot big titted girls in this one. but damn is the editing a mess. It just jumps from one sex scene to another with no rhyme nor reason. Some of the sex is really good, but there was no need for the kazoo music,"
— Thomas F. (1/5)
