Flesh Trilogy
"If you're into the "Roughies" of the mid to late 60s, this is an easy recommendation. It works in a weird way as a trilogy. I also really liked the commentaries and essays."
This special limited edition 2-disc Blu-ray set comes with a spot gloss hard slipcase + slipcover combo (designed by Haunt Love) includes a 40-page perfect bound book and is limited to 4,000 units. It is only available on our website and at select indie retailers. Absolutely no major retailers will be stocking them.
From nudies to roughies to ultra weird regional curiosities, the sexploitation world welcomed any filmmaker working in any genre, so long as the limits of nudity and sex on screen were pushed as far as they could go - but never all the way. DISTRIBPIX, one of the legendary names in the genre (and whose extensive library will be the backbone of this line), will offer single, double, and even triple feature Blu-rays highlighting works from every corner and crevice of softcore smut, from the dawn of nudie cuties to the all-but-hard 70s, with plentiful lost and never on disc films along the way.
Few filmmakers were more closely associated with the darkest, grimiest, and most shocking side of 1960s sexploitation than notorious auteur Michael Findlay (The Ultimate Degenerate), and no films better personify his uniquely twisted approach to the genre than the infamous "Flesh" trilogy.
In the first entry in the trilogy, THE TOUCH OF HER FLESH, Findlay himself stars as Richard Jennings; happily married to the beautiful Claudia (Angelique Pettyjohn). Richard leaves for a business trip only to return and discover Claudia in bed with her lover! Panic stricken, Richard staggers to the street and is hit by a car, losing an eye and gaining a limp as a result. Scorned and vengeful, Richard adopts a new identity and begins a murderous rampage against all women he deems "immoral."
In THE CURSE OF HER FLESH, the middle entry of the trilogy, Findlay returns as the bloodthirsty and eye-patched Richard Jennings. Continuing his quest to rid the world of sex-crazed females, Richard ups the ante - and bodycount, devising an array of increasingly gruesome methods of dispatching his victims all while planning the ultimate revenge against his wife's lover, Steve.
In the final installment of the trilogy, THE KISS OF HER FLESH, Richard has lost what little sanity he had left, instead putting all emphasis on seeking out and brutally slaying any and every woman who crosses his path. However, this time he might have met his match as his deceased wife's sister, Maria (Uta Erikson), is hellbent on putting an end to Richard's orgiastic rampage...

"If you're into the "Roughies" of the mid to late 60s, this is an easy recommendation. It works in a weird way as a trilogy. I also really liked the commentaries and essays."
"Unless you're a fan of Michael Findlay's stuff, I wouldn't necessarily recommend the "Flesh" trilogy sight unseen. Even by his standards, these are some nasty pieces of work, with a real emphasis on sexual assault and cruelty. However, Findlay aficionados probably know what they're getting into, and from that perspective, this set is so illuminating, as are the special features."
"Adult material elevated to an actual psychological noir. Something you can actually watch for the plot and not just with a box of tissues. Great restoration, and amazing packaging."
"Haven’t had a chance to watch this as I got it on the last sale. Great quality on this slipcase edition as normal. Started collecting the Distribpix line and haven’t been disappointed with any purchase so far."
"More sleaze from the Findlays which unfortunately offers very little else, even the sleaze is on the milder side in these pretty dull efforts. This is however a gorgeous looking upgrade and features some new essays and interviews making this a great release for am fans of these movies."
"These 3 films are pretty gritty and definitely show their low-budget, underground roots. The pacing is a bit uneven across the set, but as a look into that specific era of cheap, envelope-pushing filmmaking, it's a fun ride."
"Definitely worth checking out if you're into roughie films. The restoration looks great and and the packaging looks really nice. Great artwork too."
"Had never watched any Findlay and this was an interesting introduction. Restorations look great."
"The Flesh Trilogy (1967–1968) consists of three dark 1960s sexploitation shockers directed by Michael and Roberta Findlay. Distributed/scanned via Vinegar Syndrome, the Blu-ray box set includes The Touch of Her Flesh, The Curse of Her Flesh, and The Kiss of Her Flesh."
"Here is a delightful slice of exploitation cinema. Michael Findlay and his wife crafted a fine trilogy of smut and nonsense, featuring murder and mayhem. These discs look amazing, the black and white photography draws you in, top notch work. The essays in the booklet are fun reads to help bring some 1960's context to the viewer. While the films are tamer than Sexworld due to the social norms at the time, they still go as far as they could. Highly recommended for the viewer that enjoys seeing movies made by determined people."
