"This movie, features an excellent cast selection, with my personal favorite, Samantha Fox in one of the main roles. The story (yes, this kind of hardcore usted to have a story) goes about a three very different backgrounded girls that end living as roommates in a luxury apartments and construct bonds that no one could imagine to exist! Sounds like a soap opera drama, and It has a little bit of It, but in hardcore key! Fantastic presentation of a hardcore collection
"This is a film I’ve wanted to see for years, just cause I love Kelly Nichols so much. Never managed to get the old DistribPix dvd, but that just means that my first film exposure was on this flawless transfer. Audio and video are stunning, especially in the narcotic sex scene. The special features are great, especially the interview with Kelly Nichols and Veronica Hart. The film itself is one of the best of the hardcore era, always putting character and story ahead of titillation. If you are remotely interested in the golden age of hardcore, you need this release."

A sympathetic and touching adult film about young women navigating a predatory world.
"An earnest drama about women trapped in a culture of exploitation as much as it is a porno, this isn't exactly one I'd recommend for people just looking to choke the chicken, but the acting performances from the entire cast are very strong. All three leading ladies are sympathetic and relateable. Samantha Fox is really likable as the ex-hooker who's trying to go straight, but gets coerced back into sex work by a former client, who in an unexpected turn of events, becomes her boss (Bobby Astyr). She also has the hottest sex scenes with Jack Wrangler and Ron Jeremy. Kelly Nichols gives a devastating and heart breaking performance as a quaalude addict trapped in an abusive relationship with a thoroughly creepy Jaimie Gillis. It's not easy subject matter but she does a good job. Gillis won the best supporting actor in an adult film award for his work here. His character is repulsive, but the acting quality is undeniable. And Veronica Hart really shows off her acting chops playing a struggling actress trying to make it big in the theater scene with her "gay" acting partner (the always reliable Jerry Butler) while she's also involved in an unhealthy relationship as the side piece of a sleazy middle-aged college professor. Hart in particular is as good as any mainstream actress. There's a reason she's been called the Meryl Streep of porn. Her scenes feel almost like they could function as a highlight reel to get her into mainstream movies. The special features are pretty solid. A video interview and audio commentary with Hart and Nichols. I'm not sure what year the interview was filmed, sometime in the 2010s I think and they still looked gorgeous, especially Veronica Hart. They're charming as ever and come across as well adjusted, smart, and cool chicks who are proud of the film, and rightfully so. There's also interviews with a couple guys from the crew talking mostly about the late Chuck Vincent. These are solid interviews as well. The quality of the print and restoration are high and the poster and soundtrack CD are nice bonuses. 5 out of 5 ☆☆☆☆☆"

Wish I Had Roommates Like This
"This is possibly what serious minded folks had in mind when trying to make xxx features closer to mainstream dramas. There is a trajectory of big-eyed optimism that gives way to gritty reality as three attractive women try to achieve success in New York City. In between the explicit clinchings are some soap opera level dramatics, and the acting often rises to meet it. Veronica Hart is a particular standout, while Samantha Fox gives an earnest effort. Cinematography creates good atmosphere, but the movie on a whole ends up some what dour. It’s great to see vintage Big Apple, and I wonder what audiences at the time must have made of this."
