Two sexy spy films, available for the first time in High Definition. When they are not laying siege to one another, the would’s most powerful nations indulge in a different kind of “war games!” And the famed British secret Agent 007 isn’t the only one enjoying pussy galore; France has its own sex obsessed super spy, but his best and biggest gadget is hidden in his pants. His name is James Bande and his number: 00Sex. Follow his torrid and comical adventures in the grand tradition of porn parodies in two films produced by Jean-François Davy, and shot entirely in Normandy. First, in James Bande 00Sex : Rien Que Pour ton Cul (1981), directed by Michel Beaudricourt, winner of the "Oscars du X" (well, if we want to believe the ad), the spy who shoots faster than his shadow, played by Guy Royer, needs to outwit and out-screw such beauties as Cathy Stewart and Helene Shirley. Then, in James Bande Contre O.S.Sex 69 (1986), by Pierre B. Reinhard, Bande returns, this time played by Gabriel Pontello, to face the formidable Doctor Gode, embodied by the sublime Marilyn Jess.

    I’m glad I have these

"I’m glad I have these as a conversation piece, and I love the artwork, but truthfully they’re not great films. Still, the discs are loaded with three titles and a few interviews."

Playful Euro Spy Spoof in Great Form

"A fun and cheeky Euro spy parody that leans fully into its camp appeal. The presentation here is excellent, with strong image quality that preserves the film’s colors and texture nicely. Audio is clear and serviceable, and the overall package feels thoughtfully produced. A solid release for fans of vintage European cult cinema."

    Thomas L. (5/5)

    Series than Bond, and as

"Series than Bond, and as creakily funny as a late period Roger Moore. Fascinating how sex and humour get tied up together in so many cultures."

    Bright Colors and Clean Presentation

"James Bande is a stylish and playful release that really leans into its visual identity. What stood out first were the colors. They’re bold and vibrant without looking artificial, giving the film a lively energy that matches its tone. The looks are equally impressive. The presentation feels clean and polished, with strong detail and solid contrast. Whether you’re watching on a larger screen or a standard setup, it holds up well and feels thoughtfully mastered. The audio is clear and balanced. Dialogue comes through crisply, and background elements are handled well without overpowering key moments. It’s not an aggressive sound mix, but it’s consistent and reliable. Overall, James Bande is an entertaining and visually appealing release with strong technical presentation. A fun pickup for collectors who appreciate sharp image quality and vibrant color work."
