Reviews

Virgin and the lover

"Eric Edwards anchors this strange, haunted narrative as a director spiraling into a fetishistic void. The central image, Edwards dressing in drag to dance with a mannequin that stands in for a lost love, feels like it was ripped from a lost Jess Franco script"

Both are above average, but

"Both are above average, but FEELINGS is an exceptional wellmade, wellacted (Jamie Gillis!!!) loser Story that leaves you devastated. Highly recommend. One of VS best releases!"

Markus T. (5/5)

Very good quality for DVD.

"Very good quality for DVD. Nice double feature."

Just for Kemal Horulu

"Kemal Horulu remains one our most stupidly underrated adult filmmakers. And Virgin highlights it perfectly! A melancholy, arthouse-leaning, heartfelt film that stands up just fine next to countless mainstream arthouse films that folks worship. Lustful Feelings - a fucking incredible character piece led by god himself Jamie Gillis that should be required viewing as a double feature with Watkins' Corruption. Powerhouse filmmaking on display and no one involved drops the ball. Truly incredible stuff."

William M. (5/5)

The picture quality on this. . .

". . . double bill seems like it should be impossible to achieve, especially on such an old release. Virgin and the Lover has a ton of excellent scenes, many of which are frequented by actresses with very few hardcore credentials. Sadly, most of the ones I talk about simulating their sex scenes. A bit of a bummer. The movie has that 70s feel through and through, and you can tell that Kemal put a lot of TLC into this release."

Kevin C. (5/5)

More than meets the eye.

"Great double bill selection of Kemal Horulu 70's X-Flicks. Picture quality is usual VS standards of course.Worth checking out."

Miss these DVDs

"Two erotic films for less than the price of one. I understand why they don’t do these anymore but I’d love for these films to come back in print in some form someday. Oh well, glad I got this while I could."
