The lead star also has a private go with the casting directors' buxom secretary right on the casting directors' table. Vinegar Syndrome brings Matinee Idol on disc on in this beautiful release. According to the imdb this is one of 17 (!) pictures that he did in 1984. He was one productive guy and should be for many years to come. What's special about this film is that it was written by and stars legendary exploitation producer/director David F. Friedman. The rest of the cast also features notable names like Kay Parker, Herschell Savage, Jesie St. James or John Leslie. The restoration was sourced from the 35mm OCN and looks great."
