With ocean waves crashing below, Eve sits by herself atop a cliff. Suddenly a man approaches her; the man who will change her life forever. Her memories of childhood torment slowly give way to the optimism of young adulthood, and a chance at happiness with successful DJ Frank Paradise, but everything changes in a near-fatal instant when a car crash leaves Eve disfigured. While her new face emerges and her scars start to heal, she must now accept that those who seemed to love her may not have had Eve's true desires and best interests in mind. The chains of conformity begin to strain as Eve learns the value of overcoming her deep-rooted guilt and repression.
Following the sensational success of Behind the Green Door, the Mitchell Brothers felt they needed to create something even bigger and more meaningful as a follow-up. With their regular cinematographer Jon Fontana, taking on co-directing duties along with Artie Mitchell, RESURRECTION OF EVE was another instant smash hit, infused with pointed commentary on race and women's liberation. Starring as the three versions of Eve, Marilyn Chambers (Insatiable), along with Mimi Morgan (Femmes DeSade) and Nancy Weich in their feature film debuts, the film also boasts a strong supporting performance from Johnnie Keyes (Heavenly Desire). With a tremendous original soundtrack by Richard Wynkoop and extraordinary visuals and editing by Jon Fontana and Mark Bradford EVE further elevated the art of erotica and at last comes to Blu-ray newly restored in 4k from the Mitchell Brothers Film Group.

"Bluray has lots of good features, the picture Re-scan is great and the overal Picture is great. The booklet is a really nice addition with film infomation and some nice pictures inside. The Box is good Quality and overal well worth it."

"Resurrection Of Eve outshines Behind The Green Door in all ways. An excellent serious study of intergenerational trauma and subconscious self-sabotage. The nasty opening reminds me of Gary Graver's magnificent V-The Hot One, which shares some ideas with Eve. I do wish the film had developed these themes further. Captures the 1970s San Francisco atmosphere, and the non-linear editing storytelling and editing enhances the melancholic reflective tone. A little light on extras unfortunately. I understand the lack of archival material, but, as others have pointed out, Jared Stearns is getting repetitive, saying the same information over and over."
