Taking its name from one of the earliest "all action" sex theatre chains, each PEEKARAMA release presents two themed, full length feature films, both meticulously restored, thus giving you the opportunity to enjoy an old fashioned dirty movie double feature at home!

Prior to becoming one of the most influential independent filmmakers of the 1980s, Bill Lustig (Maniac Cop, Vigilante) cut his teeth working within New York City's busy world of adult film. Lustig's first two features, under his moniker of Billy Bagg, are represented in this set of two very different X-rated oddities: VIOLATION OF CLAUDIA (1977) showcases the incredible Sharon Mitchell (Joy, Kamikaze Hearts), a beautiful and wealthy housewife who, bored by her inattentive husband, enters the seedy, bizarre world of prostitution via her manipulative tennis coach Jamie Gillis (Roommates). Also starring Crystal Sync (A Woman's Torment), and New York character actor David Lipman aka "Waldo Short" (The Executioner, TV's Law & Order) as a senator with a dessert fetish.

In HOT HONEY (1978), the titular teenager played by Heather Young (Deep Inside Annie Sprinkle) refuses her boyfriend’s non-stop advances, preferring to spend her time with her wheelchair-bound brother Michael. But through a series of unexpected events, Honey experiences a sexual awakening, transforming from wallflower to vixen and wickedly seducing men and women alike! Co-starring Serena (Taxi Girls), Herschel Savage (Getting Personal) and Robin Byrd (Her Name Was Lisa). Each film has been newly restored in 2K from their original negatives and includes a vibrant, no-holds-barred audio commentary with director Bill Lustig alongside the acclaimed contemporary auteur filmmaker Nicolas Winding Refn (Drive, The Neon Demon).

"FINALLY! This was my most wanted double feature of adult films to be on Blu-ray and out of nowhere comes this amazing Peekarama. There was a Distribpix DVD of these films over 10 years ago, but it's been OOP for ages and worth a lot of money. I was not willing to pay 200$ for a used copy. I am fascinated by "mainstream" or exploitation directors having done porn in their early days and Bill Lustig even did two, which are both presented in excellent quality on this disc. HOT HONEY does not look as good as CLAUDIA, but that could be the blame of the original shoot. Now, the actual films are nothing too special. Jamie Gillis is in both amd Sharon Mitchell gives a great performance as Claudia, which is easily the superior movie. But the most interesting thing about this release are the commentaries with Lustig and Nicolas Winding Refn. While many Mainstream directors didn't like to talk about their porn efforts (like Wes Craven or Abel Ferrara), Lustig is happy to and shares a ton of entertaining and fascinating anecdotes. Refn is a great interviewer. I wonder why this has not sold out immediately. Highly recommended!"

"Bill Lustig's first two films, these don't really foreshadow what he would do later. Claudia is the better of the two, with a good twist ending, Hot Honey looks like he had half a day to shoot it and made up the script minutes before filming each scene. "Two fun early flicks, both directed by B-movie king William Lustig. My personal favorite out of the two is "Hot Honey" starring Jamie Gillis, Serena and Robin Byrd since the sex is a little hotter in my opinion. Both titles are solid, however. Highly recommended!"

"I wish I could say better things about either of these two William Lustig-directed adult features, but honestly, Lustig became a FAR better director once he left porn for the world of grindhouse cinema. These films are boring, listlessly made, and not terribly sexy. That said, the Blu-ray is terrific - the Lustig / Nicolas Winding Refn commentary is worth the price of admission."

"Before Director William Lustig went mainstream he shot these two forgotten adult classics. Serena and Sharon Mitchell are captured here in the early phase of their careers and they look fantastic. Two great flicks which were deserved of VS's restoration treatment! Nice commentary tracks for each flick.
