Joe Sarno goes Sweden
"Great release by Swedish cult movie label Klubb Super 8, whose CEO Rickard Gramfors also appears on one of the two audio commentaries. Apparently this was a very infamous film upon its release in Sweden and made quiet the cultural impact. Watching it I was reminded of the German Lederhosen films, although most of those were softcore, while this is very much a hardcore joint. NY Sexploitation veteran Joe Sarno directed this when he and his wife moved to the Swdish countryside. It's a very atmospheric, light hearted film with a lot of beautiful shots of nature and bodies. With almost 2 hours, it can still drag a little bit. Next time I will probably go with the Smut without Smut version, which is included here and is almost 40 minutes shorter. Extras include a short featurette with the Sarnos now living in Sweden, another commentary, the English trailer and some galleries. The restoration is flawless and you can watch the movie in Swedish with English subtitles or with the English dub track."
