Kinky stuff
"Radley Metzger rarely disappoints. He was a very precise director. The story here is kind of loose, since it's mostly a series of scenes patched together. But you have a very good cast. . . anything with Annette Haven and C. J. Laing has to be in my collection, and they have the best scenes here. Very good restoration, and the archive interview with Gloria Leonard is very interesting."

"Even though Mélusine released a few Radley Metzger classics in their signature line, they did not reserve that honor for Maraschino Cherry, perhaps because it has a reputation of being one of the lesser Radley Metzger efforts. It sits well in their Quality X line, though, and has some nice extras, including an interesting series of cuts and outtakes, and a pretty booklet featuring an essay by The Rialto Report's Ashley West."
