"It's branded as a sex-filled The Most Dangerous Game and that's pretty apt. This must be an early VS release because it's exactly the sort of film the company was destined to restore and put out. Super entertaining films, the both of them."

"The Suckers" is the superior movie, as it does not focus on sex scenes as much as "The Love Garden" does. But both are highly recommended to fans of classic Grindhouse fodder. The transfer looks great, considering this is a 10 years old DVD. No extras."
Probably groundbreaking at the time
"I generally don't get on too well with these films, as there's often a bit too much softcore to show it at movie nights and those sections always slow the film down to the point where you lose interest anyway. At the time and for the market they were made, that's absolutely fine. But to me right now, as a piece of entertainment it's quite a different matter. The Love Garden wasn't really very interesting at all and quite honestly I can't think of much to say about it other than the music is quite nice! The Suckers is somewhat more interesting, in that it's one of those films where people are lured into a situation only to be hunted. Surviving the Game, Turkey Shoot (Bloodcamp Thatcher) and many more films spring to mind. This one would be pretty good, were it not for all the softcore scenes which drag it out and slow the whole thing down. Weirdly it states on the case (or maybe at the start of the film) this is the long lost complete version with all the softcore scenes intact, which is a pity because I'd have much preferred the shorter version without those scenes! In any event, if you don't mind watching two people wriggling about on top of one another and long gaps between the storyline then there is some fun to be had with this title."

"Great value double-feature DVD from VS that delivers the exploitation goods I look for. The prints are kinda rough, but the eye candy is what I like, and the plots are interesting enough and not too drawn out. Glad I picked this one up while i could."
