In the world of sexploitation, few distributors were as diverse in their offerings as Grads Corp. Presented here are three of their most unique productions: THE BLUE HOUR tells the story of Tanya, a young woman with a mysterious past who finds herself trapped in a sexual hell in Los Angeles. Punctuated by striking visuals and avant garde editing, THE BLUE HOUR is a lost masterpiece of late period sexploitation. ONE NAKED NIGHT follows the life of a young woman who is trying to avoid falling into the same trap that led to her mother's suicide; prostitution. THREE IN A TOWEL is a San Francisco lensed underground oddidty chock full of voluptuous hippie chicks.

All three films have been restored in 2K from 35mm negatives. THE BLUE HOUR and THREE IN A TOWEL are being presented on home video for the first time.

Dreadful

"Absolute waste of money"

Great package of underground porn

"This is a wonderful package of films. You couldn't see these movies anywhere else. If you like unique experiences and are cinematically daring you should get this one. I bought it for Three on a Towel and enjoyed everything else even though its of varying quality."

Sam B. (5/5)

Time capsule of L. A. , N. Y. , and San Francisco.

"The Blue Hour is fairly serious but it's a i've Los Angeles in the early 1970s, one naked night gives you a glimpse of New York City in the 60s, and Three In A Towel shows you some of late 60s San Francisco. All three also are a time capsule of porn from these periods. They are fairly serious for adult movies but still worth while."

Kevin K. (4/5)

hidden masterpiece

"Though One Naked Night and Three in a Towel are worthwhile curios more than anything, The Blue Hour remains an undiscovered masterpiece. Quickly establishing itself as an avant garde-arthouse-sexploitation film, it all comes together with such tenderness for its protagonist and the trauma they've experience, that the tears flow every single time I revisit. A beautiful character piece, punctuated with truly inspired atypical art filmmaking of the highest degree."

Early sexploitation

"When sexploitation was art. These features in this set are great at character exploration. They look amazing given the quality restorations by VS. A release that everyone should have -- too bad it's OOP at present."

Kevin C. (5/5)

Blue Movie!

"This one will appeal to those who yearn for the glory days of Something Weird Video! Three Sexploitation curios that also have a late '60's 'arty' ambience to them. If you know, you know! Needless to say, these look fab, with sympathetic restorations that one would come to expect from Vinegar Syndrome."

Two Into Three Won't Go

"A trio of films demonstrating the wide variance of the sexploitation when occasional attempts were made at legitimate artistry."The Blue Hour" presents a character seemingly possessed by horrendously bad luck with men. In the course of the film, often told in confusing overlapping flashbacks through hyper-actively disorganized editing rhythms, the woman suffers countless near rapes, violence and deaths before a last minute revelation that intends to wipe all of the psychic trauma previously on display as if the character were suddenly equipped with a therapeutic white-out. Despite the narrative confusion, the film encompasses a certain fascination, though nothing excuses the shameless padding with the opening credits running almost six minutes and then repeated verbatim at the film's conclusion. "One Naked Night" suggests a legitimate Sarno-like exploration of sexual anxieties coupled with a pessimistic denouement reminiscent of Doris Wishman and is genuinely well shot and incisively written. However, "Three in a Towel" is an example of a complete failure, unworthy of viewing or continued restoration."

A great collection

"This captivating collection brings together three unique films that explore themes of intimacy, vulnerability, and human connection in profound ways. Blue Hour dives into the complexities of desire and emotional depth, showcasing stunning cinematography that beautifully captures the fleeting moments of twilight. The performances are nuanced, drawing viewers into a world of unspoken feelings and poignant interactions. One Naked Night takes a daring approach, presenting a night of raw honesty and unexpected encounters. The film challenges societal norms and explores the intricacies of relationships, all while maintaining a sense of humor that keeps the audience engaged. The chemistry between the characters is palpable, making each scene feel authentic and relatable. Three in a Towel adds a playful yet thought-provoking layer to the collection. It explores friendship and the blurred lines between love and lust, leaving viewers questioning their own boundaries. The dialogue is sharp, and the dynamics between the characters are brilliantly portrayed. Together, these films create a compelling narrative that encourages viewers to reflect on their own experiences with love and connection. The direction and writing shine throughout, making this DVD a must-have for fans of introspective cinema. The blend of humor, drama, and stunning visuals ensures that this collection resonates long after the credits roll. Overall, this DVD is a beautifully curated experience that showcases the power of storytelling in its many forms."
