In Bob Chinn's big budget mix of X rated war epic and Nazisploitation, John Holmes stars as an American G.I. who gets marooned on a tropical island after his ship is bombed. There he discovers a small Nazi outpost which has kidnapped a beautiful American nurse. Determined to save her, he slowly begins to infiltrate the Nazi compound.
Also starring Seka, in one of her first roles, and beautiful Jade Wong, PRISONER OF PARADISE remains one of director Bob Chinn's crowning achievements.

"Great 70s classic porn. Looks as good as ever on this release."
"The hottest babes , comedic and very well done! Unusual fun restored by the amazing Vinegar Syndrome!"
"A shipwrecked World War II sailor comes to the rescue of two American nurses held in the clutches of a twisted Nazi officer and his three female assistants on a deserted South Pacific island."
"Strong film"
"I'm sure a lot of people outside the UK won't know what 'Allo 'Allo is, but for those that do know they'll probably understand what I'm getting at. This movie is pure camp and it's an absolute blast! Somebody has actually put a 60ish minute version online without the sex scenes, which should give you some idea how little adult material there is during the movie. The adult scenes are okay, nothing particularly special, but this film is actually worth watching for comedy value. If you're going to have friends over to watch it then I'd obviously suggest the online version without the adult scenes is the best choice (it just gets weird otherwise), but just to watch on your own you can skip through the adult bits if you're not watching it for that reason. And those female Nazi outfits. . . pure comedy gold!"
"Anything Bob Chinn touches is gold, and this is no exception. The inclusion of the extra trailers is a fun bonus too."
"a real classic."
"They DO NOT make them like this anymore. Fascinating."
"Perhaps one of Bob Chinn's most significant collaborations with John Holmes. Great sets and costumes; fun effects and made on a pretty large scope. This is the type of film that Burt Reynolds wanted to make in Boogie Nights. Recommended. Hoping for an upgrade from Melusine!"
