Fascinating Archival Release

"A really interesting release for collectors and fans of film preservation. The material is naturally rough in places, but the disc does a good job making these rare films available in a watchable and respectful presentation. A valuable archival set."

These look great but are

"These look great but are rather boring."

Edward l. (2/5)

The Godfather Of Gore does naughty pictures

"The new slipcover made me give this, their first release, finally a chance in one of their sales rounds. H. G. Lewis's filming style is a bit too sedate and workmanlike for my taste, yet I cannot deny that these films were quite good and spicy, especially considering their time. That new slipcover looks beautiful. Since it's an older release, no subtitles unfortunately"

Tim V. (4/5)

I Was Excited To See The Spine Number!

"This one is listed as VS-001BD, that's pretty cool! I've heard Herschell's name before but I didn't know much about him, figured this might be a good place to start. Just an added bonus that it's such and early release that was still available."

Jake B. (5/5)

Amazing movie

"Wish I got the slipcover because this movie is so good"

tyler j. (5/5)

Great transfer

"Well, Ecstasies probably best option on this disc, funny as HG Lewis can be. Linda unfortunately appears to be boring for me, even though transfer looks amazing."

Valentins S. (3/5)

Most have forgotten they existed.

"3 of his very early movies from his grind house days which looks absolutely stunning after Vinegar Syndrome had finished restoring them. Not his best offerings but it helps you understand how his career was progressing & where he'd end up. Definitely worth purchasing whilst it's available."

Gary W. (4/5)

VS-001 BD

"Great triple bill of ‘sexploitation’ classics from the master …."

richard c. (5/5)

Lesser seen flicks from the Godfather of Gore

"I own the HG Lewis ‘Feast’ set of his gore and general exploitation features and this set perfectly rounds that off by including his lesser seen smut films. Lovingly restored beyond anyone’s expectations and worth grabbing before the last stocks have sold out."

Dickon N. (5/5)

A great addition to your collection

"It is great to have access to those titles. The picture quality is very nice. Another great release by Vinegar Syndrome / Melusine"
