No smoke and Mirrors . . . . . .

"This is a polished, well-crafted film with an unusual storyline. The cinematography is excellent, and the high production values are evident in the sharp editing, detailed set designs, and costumes. "Veronica Hart" and "Marlene Willoughby" both deliver standout performances that elevate the material. The transfer, Scanned and restored from a 35mm Interpositive, isn’t perfect, but looks clean and impressive. This release also features two interesting commentaries, though the interviews are a bit of a mixed bag. Casey Scott, the enthusiastic Moderator, is a bit too reverent in his interview with "Veronica Hart". The director, "Shaun Costello", provides fantastic insights and shares his refreshingly honest view about "Kandi Barbour", but his interviewer was far too dry and serious. Someone needs to tell this moderator to ease up. It’s a vintage adult film, not "Gone with the Wind"."
