Nora Pelham wants her husband to make love to her, but he’s not interested. After discovering that his lack of enthusiasm is the result of an affair, Nora decides that what he can do, she can do better. So, with the help of her friend Sylvia, Nora starts seeking out a variety of strange and outrageous sexual experiences… One of the most successful films of Roberta’s early career, ANYONE BUT MY HUSBAND is a charming comedy of bad-manners which stars C.J. Laing (Midnight Desires), Jennifer Jordan (Angela the Fireworks Woman), Robert Kerman (Cannibal Ferox), Eric Edwards (Indecent Exposure) and many other familiar faces from New York’s sex film scene.

Punkin, former sex film starlet turned maid to rich old Mr. Crean-Smith marries her employer, only to discover that, try as she might to fit in, his old money cronies still view her as nothing more than ‘the help.’ A delicious send up of class dynamics, SWEET PUNKIN I LOVE YOU offers screwball comedy and scorching sex in heaping helpings, and features Crystal Sync, Marlene Willoughby, Jennifer Jordan, John Holmes, Eric Edwards, plus C.J. Laing as Punkin.

"These two films are decent efforts from "Roberta Findlay", one of the few female directors in the genre, and they display a woman’s point of view and sensibilities. Both serve as satirical social commentaries on sex and class differences in the 1970s. The star of these two movies, "C. J. Laing", has minimal acting ability, but showcases her amazing sexual capabilities throughout. In "Sweet Punkin", the scene in the bathtub—where the maid is ordered to perform tasks against her will simply because of her status—takes on a biting tone that highlights the writer's interest in power dynamics. "Anyone But My Husband" continues these themes with a look at suburban infidelity. While the film is well-restored, the standout feature is the commentary track with "Findlay" herself. Her insights are blunt and witty & leave the viewer wishing a similar track existed for "Sweet Punkin". Peekarama has done an good job with the restorations and release of both features in one package."

"I've just recently boarded the Roberta Findlay hype train, and this is a great double feature presentation of some of her earlier hardcore work starring the wonderful C. J. Laing. While the humour of "Sweet Punkin" didn't quite land for me, this is worth it for "Anyone But My Husband" alone."
