"VCX has brought home an absolute classic of the genre, and has done it with style! Perhaps not the greatest adult film ever made, Debbie Does Dallas is iconic and deserves a place in everyone's collection. Starring the adorable Bambi Woods, and surrounded by a great supporting cast, this classic is not to be missed. With a fantastic new restoration, several audio commentaries, interviews, trailers, and much more, VCX has given us a deluxe package for one of the most important adult films going. With a replica poster, and high quality booklet to round things out. A little detail I appreciated (I assume this was intentional) is that the artist for the slipcover, Robert Sammelin, has done his so that it's not wildly out of line with the previous Peekarama release of the sequel. They look great together!"

"Finally this classic golden age title is being released with a new transfer. Excellent picture quality and overall package though it is a shame that not all special features from the VCX DVD have been ported over (Hershel Savage's fun commentary is sorely missed for example). Nonetheless a must have, of course!"

"Finally caught one of the big names of the genre. . . only for it to be a pretty big whiff. The entirety of the film could be summed up in roughly two (smutty) sentences and the number of decent performances could be tallied on one hand, and yeah, it's the ones you'd expect from reading the cast list. Neat from a historical perspective, but really not worth the hoopla, and the sequel's better, from what I recall."
