"Film wastes no time to get to the boobs and smoking. The transfer was a little rough in spots, but… the vibe was always there and it didn’t really detract. Some of the overdubs are questionable, but they're fun, so some of them are actually quite endearing. "if you don't satisfy me, I'll try your shifter, I love it" hahahah It’s a 5-star JF if you can get the slip."

"Where to start. How about the title. The original title (Die Teuflischen Schwestern - The Devilish Sisters) would've been more suitable considering there is nothing "satanic" going on. It's basically sisterly betrayal and manipulation for some inheritance. And it's obvious that this is made for titillation rather than filming a good story, which it could've been, if done properly. I'd give two stars, but I gave it an extra star for the two females."
"Another lovely Franco release from Delirium Home Video. Drugs, Lust, Betrayal, and a very familiar Rolls Royce! What more could you ask for? Edna (the always lovely Pamela Stanford) keeps her nympho sister Millie (equally lovely Karine Gambier) drugged and chained to a bed, bringing men home to satisfy her lusts. And that's just the start! Another wild, psychedelic thrill ride from the peak of the Franco/Deitrich collaboration. Perhaps not their best one, but definitely unforgettable. With a groovy slip by the super talented Suspiria Vilchez and a great interview from Stephen Thrower, this release should satisfy. The only downsides are the lack of anything but an English dub (a real issue with these Delirium releases, preventing them from being the definitive North American editions), and a really dire commentary track. I get that these were mostly ALL dubbed in whatever language, but the English ones are almost always terrible. As for the commentary, the guy mostly rambles on about Franco/case generalities instead of speaking about the film (I get that there will need to be some of that, but the balance is terrible here) and can't even do that for the entire time. Instead, he spends a long while reading out an interview he did with Franco that appeared in print somewhere, not even touching upon this particular film. And to make matters worse, he reads out Franco's answers in his very best Speedy Gonzales voice. Truly cringeworthy."

"I consider myself a big fan of Jess Franco Athough I own most of his films from the Dietrich era, this one slipped by and I had never seen it. Turns out it's a mid level Franco, with some decent scenes, good music and some shocking stuff. But nothing ground breaking and his style is held back a little bit. To my suprise the transfer on this disc was pretty disappointing. Maybe it's because of a PAL to NTSC conversion or something, but my other Ascot Elite Blu-rays from Germany look much better. It's a tad above DVD quality. Especially in darker scenes, this transfer is lacking. Also the "original" German dub track is missing, which is a shame. The big plus about this release is the featurette with Stephen Thrower. I could listen to him for hours talking about Franco and this Interview does not disappoint. The artwork is really nice and raunchy."

"HELLS YES ANOTHER JESS FRANCO FILM from Delirum. It's such a wonderful Franco opening with a pain of breasts zoomed in with the title credits. Another one of the Edwin Dietrich/ Franco collaborations from the 1970s that has that vibe from that period. Loved it but I'm biased as I'm a Franco fanatic. The transfer looks great and we get a great Stephen Thrower interview which is always a highlight and a nice informative audio commentary in the extras department."
