Melvin (Douglas Stone) lives a boring life, running an antique shop and sneaking off to 42nd Street to watch dirty movies, while dreaming that he too may some day seduce Tina Russell. "Admittedly I wasn't at first keen on this film but seeing it pop up in a sale with the film going OOP, I gave it a chance. Solid work, not too funny to be honest but Tina Russell looks great and the cast try their best. The story is also quite original with even an element of meta."

"The main lead is suppose to be funny but he’s kind of just irritating. There is some weird stuff between him and his mom, he doesn’t actually perform (luckily) and has a real pornstar take his place for the sex scenes. Overall it’s okay, the genie girl saves it. She has a lot of charisma."
