"Who wouldn’t marry Mary Steenburgen, whether to avoid a hangin’ or not? And apparently the Old West had some interesting sentencing requirements… Weird little western, and about what you would expect when the director is Jack Nicholson."
"Goin’ South was perfectly okay. There is nothing particularly wrong with it, and I enjoyed enough of the humor and performances to keep me entertained, but it never really grabbed me either. Jack Nicholson is fun to watch, and there are moments where the film’s slightly oddball personality comes through, but just as often I found my attention drifting. I didn’t dislike it at all, and I’m glad I finally saw it. It passed the time pleasantly enough, but I doubt I’ll be thinking about it much from here."
"These protectors fit Vinegar Syndrome slipcovers absolutely perfectly without being too tight. The plastic is crystal clear, thick enough to prevent shelf wear, and makes the artwork look stunning on the shelf. If you want to keep your limited editions mint, these are worth every penny."
"So great VS makes an assortment of clear cases for all their film releases. Very sturdy and easily assembled. Protect your investments!!!"
"The cases are well made, easy to "assemble" and work well for their purpose. They're maybe a bit too tight, and exrtra mm or two in space would be better. Shows are a grouping of my Cinematographe titles in this particular case style (2 disc w/ 40 page book)."
"Goin’ South is an uneven but likable western comedy, carried by Jack Nicholson’s unruly energy and Mary Steenburgen’s ability to hold her ground against him. The supporting cast adds plenty of personality, while Cinématographe’s sharp 4K restoration and sturdy MediaBook packaging make this an especially appealing release for Nicholson collectors."
"Should be an automatic purchase with every Cinematographe release. Fits perfectly and keeps the J-card safe."
"Great service, right on time, Thank you (AAA +)"
"I always buy the protectors when VinSyn has them listed. Perfect fit with very nice protection so far"
