The biggest stars, best directors, and highest production values; that is a QUALITY X film. These deluxe Blu-ray editions of some of the genre's masterpieces, along with plenty of hidden gems, offer beautiful restorations and plentiful bonus features, all presented in homage to its namesake of esteemed New York film distributor, Mature Pictures, the company which almost single handedly raised the bar for outstanding sex films, and whose films will be included in this fittingly elegant collection.
Sue Forbes, editor-in-chief at Panther Magazine, one of the country's hottest skin rags, finds herself the target of media outrage over publishing “obscene” materials, spearheaded by local political group, Morality Over Madness, or M.O.M. Ready to go to battle for her rights, Sue enlists the help of her biggest and most successful former centerfolds. Each one then sets their sights on a different board member of M.O.M., all in an effort to prove each and every one of them is far more perverted and debauched than anything Sue’s T&A mag ever dared publish!
A cheerfully cynical satire of moral hypocrisy in American politics, Gary Graver’s (Coed Fever) CENTERSPREAD GIRLS offers up a who’s who of early 80s hardcore talent, among them Georgina Spelvin (Indecent Exposure), Veronica Hart (A Scent of Heather), Desiree Costeau (Pretty Peaches), Lisa De Leeuw (Dixie Ray Hollywood Star), Jessie St James (Between Lovers), Richard Bolla (Cannibal Holocaust), and character actor John Alderman (Little Miss Innocence). Fast paced and witty from beginning to end, courtesy of C. W. O’Hara’s (Amanda By Night) clever screenplay, Quality X is delighted to present CENTERSPREAD GIRLS on Blu-ray for the first time, newly restored from its 35mm interpositive!

"The Centerspread Girls disc doesn't have the best audio / visual quality, as far as these Melusine releases are concerned, but it's just being true to the limitations of the original sound mix. What we've got looks terrific, and I loved the interviews on the disc."
"I see Annette Haven and I buy. Sadly, it took me a while to pickup this title because she is not listed on the website as an actress in it. Not one of my top scenes with her but she never disappoints."
"A bit odd but overall good"
"Always good to get"
"I’m a mark for anything Desiree"
"Good restoration and transfer. Didn't care enough for this one to keep"
"A classic satire of the anti everything fun movements that were so prominent in the 80's."
"blind buy for me, haven't watched it yet but im really looking forward to it"
"More story-driven and coherent than some, and overall pretty fun! And while the packaging doesn't seem to feature any original art, I like the two new-art options and the design that seems to echo the era. Good purchase."
"Not a lot going on under the surface but a lot of fun to be had."
