PEEKARAMA presents the wildest, rarest, and most scandalous theatrical hardcore double features. Taking its name from one of the earliest "all action" sex theatre chains, each PEEKARAMA release presents two themed, full length feature films, both meticulously restored, thus giving you the opportunity to enjoy an old fashioned dirty movie double feature at home!
In the distant future, Captain Larry Madison, the most heroic leader of the space fleet, has been sent on a mission to Lorigon, a far off planet known to be the galaxy’s greatest resource for Antalium, a precious metal needed to create weaponry. However, when they reach the planet, they discover that it’s overseen by a powerful computer which is capable of forcing all those near it to engage in mindless debauchery. Determined to overcome its effects, Madison and his crew wade through jungles and valleys in search of Antalium…but why does Lt. Sondra Richardson keep having strange sexual nightmares involving a well endowed beast?
An unfiltered product of everything which makes Italian sexploitation cinema legendary, this in-name-only “sequel” to Walerian Borowczyk’s notorious “erotic” fantasy, Alfonso Brescia’s (Naked Girl Killed in the Park) THE BEAST IN SPACE is a wild take on late 70s sci-fi, enhanced with bizarre peplum-esque plot twists and shocking hardcore sex, and starring Sirpa Lane (The Beast, Nazi Love Camp 27), Lucio Rosato (The Barbarians), and the future queen of 80s Italian smut, Marina Hedman (Satan’s Baby Doll)! Long overdue for Blu-ray, Peekarama has painstakingly restored the film from its never before scanned 16mm original negative and invites you to buckle up and blast off to the stars.

"I was a bit late picking this one up but eventually got it in the sale. Happy to have it in my collection. A fun watch."
"I was not expecting much, but finally pulled the trigger on this purchase. The film itself was laughable, but would have been better so with appropriately bad audio dubbing. Unfortunately, I had to endure equally bad subtitles. However, the worst part of the quality of the film transfer. Very soft-focus and grainy. The is a d-movie science fiction romp with triple x scenes spliced in."
"This honestly isn't that great, I really wish I enjoyed it more than I did Fantastic slip cover though, I really like the art"
"A lot of reviews don't like this film, but I always found it enjoyable, it's better than Flesh Gordon for example. Yes it's cheap and silly but Sirpa Lane is absolutely gorgeous and the film is worth it for her alone! My only issues here is that, apart from the interviews, this is really no better than the previous Severin DVD. No English audio track, which is annoying since you can plainly see actors speaking English. I'm also disappointed that, despite claiming to be uncut, the deleted scenes extras are not included that were on the Severin DVD, which showed the Beast's "climax" as it were (despite being an insert), Also the trailer is not included."
"Similar to 1960s titles Italian titles Green Slime and Space Vampires, but with more overt sexiness."
"Really enjoyed this and the packaging at artwork on the slip and reversible sleeve is beautiful. Cool interviews with the cast now in the extras, interesting to see their faces!"
"Another very nice release by Melusine. The slipcover looks and feels of quality construction. The whole presentation of the movie is well done. I love the reversible covers and the art is great! Shipping was safely and securing packed so no damaged incurred during transit. I’m looking to watching it soon!"
"Beast in Space is one of those wild Italian mash-ups of sci-fi and sleaze that only the late ’70s could deliver. The Peekarama release captures the bizarre mix of space opera camp and adult exploitation perfectly, making it a curiosity worth spinning if you’re into cult oddities."
"Colorful well filmed and nice low budget special effects. Wish the soft core version was offered as an extra."
"Loaded with extras, this release features a great soundtrack and crisp audio. So. glad to finally have such an exceptional physical copy."
